About the Artist
Having grown up in Alaska’s Chugach Mountains, my childhood summers were spent playing in the woods, climbing over glaciers, and soaking up the summers’ vivid colors. In comparison, winters were stark displays of contrast: dark days and gleaming snow; a white world set against a sky so blue it almost looked like a photographer’s backdrop. Although the same place, these visual differences taught me to be observant and sparked my love for landscape painting. While I’ve lived many places and explored much of the world since, my paint brush has never been far from hand; the results of which I hope you enjoy.
